- Technical Data: Like most websites, we automatically collect basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to ensure our website functions securely and properly.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create, display, and maintain your pet's virtual memorial on our platform.
- To place a memorial pin on our Global Memorial Map using the coordinates of the city/country you selected.
- To send you important administrative emails, such as your access link (magic link) or payment receipts.
- To support our "Giving Back" mission by calculating charitable donations from proceeds.
3. Public vs. Private Information
What is public: Any information you deliberately add to the memorial (pet's name, photo, message, and general city/country location) will be visible to visitors of the PawCandle website. Please do not include sensitive personal information (like your full home address) in the memorial text or location field.
What is private: Your email address and payment details are strictly confidential and will never be shared, sold, or displayed publicly.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We only share information with trusted service providers necessary to operate our website:
- Stripe: For secure payment processing.
- Hosting Providers: Secure servers where our website and your uploaded photos are stored.

You have full control over your memorial. Using the private magic link sent to your email, you can access your memorial at any time. If you wish to have your memorial, photo, or personal data permanently deleted from our servers, please contact us, and we will process your request immediately.
